This evening I had absolutely no idea what to cook. I browsed through my meals2do-database and encountered a read bean burger recipe which had saved a few months ago. I mashed a can of red kidney beans, added a shredded carrot, freshly dried oregano (see my kitchen gardening project), chili flakes, salt, pepper, bread crumbs and an egg. Then I made small patties and put them into a pan. I also had exactly 2 (two!) potatoes of which I made some crisps seasoned with my very dearly loved Maldon salt. Then I assembled the burgers by putting the patties on wholemeal bread with a tiny and thin slice of cheese, garnished with BBQ-creamcheese and onions. I also added some of my ketchup which I produced recently.
